My plane was delayed so I pushed back the Taxi. I did have scheduled, but then they moved my plane back to the original time and that Taxi could not help me so I called John and he was at my place in 15 minutes. He was a real lifesaver and he got me to the airport on time.

When another car service canceled last minute, leaving me stranded at Castle Hill Inn at 4:00 AM on a Sunday, Drivers Seat came to the rescue. He arrived promptly, was professional, safe, personable, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I got where I needed to go. His calm and responsible demeanor immediately put me at ease. We visited Newport for the first time and we are so grateful for The Drivers Seat! We won’t visit again without booking rides to/from the airport with this company. Our driver, Greg, went the extra mile (pun intended) pointing out historical buildings and teaching us about the history of the city. The driver we had scheduled from a different local company for a very early morning ride from Hotel Viking to the Providence airport did not show up. Fortunately, we called John Shaw at My Drivers Seat, he rescued us and we were able to catch our flight home. He was amazing, very friendly, and the car was immaculate. My wife and I had booked a reserve trip with Uber to take us to the Providence Airport. Despite booking 24 hours in advance the Uber driver canceled last minute and no other uber driver would take the trip. John went out of his way to make sure we were picked up on time and made it easy for us to reach him for return trips back to Castle Hill. John also made a last minute change while we were driving to the Providence airport and drove me to Logan/Boston instead due to flight delays.
